In case you were wondering, Yes, this is indeed the actual roof of Paddington, down to those patterns on the roof beams. I've always been entralled by the beauty of the cast-iron beams you see in old train stations such as Paddington and King's Cross. If I could pick my favourite Victorian accomplishment, it'd definitely be that. I hope I've managed to potray at least a fraction of their actual beauty. Nothing else can beat seeing it first-hand, Of course. The scale of the last panel doesn't do the real thing justice.
